Gateway to Japanese Food 2019


Japan’s Food Export Fair will come back for the third time in November 2019.

An anticipated 800 suppliers of Japanese food, drinks and utensils will gather in one place, sponsored by JETRO, with strong support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

Udon or Ramen? Sake or Shochu?

The exhibitors will be showcasing:

Frozen food – Processed food, Agricultural products

Noodles – Udon, Soba, Ramen, Seasonings and Soup Base

Pouched (ambient) ready food – Typically curry and pasta sauces

Confectionary – Match flavours, Yuzu flavours, and more.

Agricultural products – Wagyu beef, Sushi grade seafood, Nori, Japanese tea

Drinks – Soft drinks, Sake, Shochu spirit

and unique Japanese spices, together with health and beauty products. There will be kitchen utensils and tableware suited for the preparation of Japanese food.

Logistics companies will also be there to offer assistance with importing the items you will find at the fair.

Japanese Food Near Me?

There will be over 800 exhibitors, and they are expecting to introduce their products to 18,000 buyers from 80 overseas countries, including importers, retailers, food manufacturers, hoteliers and restaurateurs.

These suppliers come from all over Japan, often from remote areas which can be difficult for many overseas buyers to visit and make the necessary contacts. It is not as simple as finding a Japanese Food outlet near you, via search engine.

Whether you are an importer or a retailer, a food manufacture or a restaurateur, you will surely find the a solution to your existing needs.
